A spacer bushing slides over a bolt to hold a set gap between parts, such as a bellcrank, rod end, or pulley and its mounting bracket. It lets the joint be torqued fully without crushing the structure or binding the moving part. The first dash number on this NAA standard gives the bolt size in sixteenths of an inch.
