A 4B series press-fit bushing is pressed into a reamed hole in a fitting, bellcrank, or bracket to give the bolt a hard, replaceable bearing surface. When it wears, the bushing is replaced instead of the parent part. The basic number sets the bolt size on this NAA standard.
