95-28391 is the AAF specification number for the Pesco Type B-12 engine driven vacuum system. The oil separator mounts in the vacuum pump discharge line just forward of the firewall. It strips the pump's lubricating oil out of the discharged air and drains it back to the engine. The Type B-12 separator is called out in the P-51 Mustang parts catalog and was used in P-38 Lightning and P-47 Thunderbolt vacuum installations. The same spec number also covers the B-12 vacuum pump and suction relief valve, so confirm the part type against your IPC callout when ordering.
