AJ6-1/2-80 Dzus Stud - 13/32" Body Diameter .800" Length

SKU: AJ6-1/2-80
$3.50

AJ6-1/2-80 is a Dzus Type AJ quarter-turn stud with an oval protruding head with a long undercut, a 13/32" body diameter, and a .800" working length. A screwdriver slot or Dzus key drives the stud. The long undercut lets the stud stand proud of the panel when unlocked so it can be gripped by hand.

ABOUT: Dzus fasteners are quarter-turn, self-locking panel fasteners made of heat-treated, cadmium plated nickel steel, used with an aluminum grommet and a music wire spring. The stud passes through the removable panel, the grommet locates and protects the panel hole, and the spring is riveted to the underlying structure where it takes the load and provides the locking action. They are used on covers, plates, cowlings, and similar panels that require quick removal and replacement. Worn, bent, or broken parts must be replaced to maintain clamp load and vibration resistance.

Size 6-1/2 is a 13/32" body, and the -80 suffix is a .800" length.
