52ZA17-048 uses an all-metal high temperature flex locking element, so it carries a 450 F rating with no insert to age or crack. The 52ZA17-048 is a one lug plate nut with two rivet holes, sometimes called a single ear anchor nut. It is the MS21080 / NAS1025 pattern and is the standard choice where the mounting surface is too narrow for a two lug plate nut but still needs two rivets for anti-rotation.
