F5S-1032S locks by deformed thread rather than a fiber or nylon insert, so there is no insert to age or crack and the part is rated to 450 F instead of the 250 F limit that applies to insert types. The F5S-1032S is a Boots wing nut style two lug floating plate nut. The nut element floats in a riveted bracket so it can shift to meet a screw that does not line up perfectly, which is what you want on long covers, fairings and removable panels.
