22NA12-02 NUT - ANCHOR, TWO LUG, COUNTERSUNK 100 DEGREE, TALL CAP
PART NUMBER: 22NA12-02
AIRCRAFT: Various
CONDITION: NS
DETAILS: Two lug anchor nut, 100 degree countersunk head, tall cap, 10-32 thread, nylon locking insert, cadmium plated carbon steel

The 22NA12-02 is a two lug anchor nut with a 100 degree countersunk head and a taller barrel than the standard flush pattern. The countersunk face lets the nut seat into a dimpled or machine countersunk skin so the mating surface stays flush, while the taller cap gives added thread engagement for the 10-32 screw. It rivets through two rivet holes, one per lug, and uses a nylon locking insert.

Cross Reference and Interchange

Government standard reference: MS21049L3 style (all-steel equivalent).

ESNA builds this style with either locking insert. 22A12-02 carries the fiber insert and 22NA12-02 carries the nylon insert. The two are dimensionally the same part and are normally interchangeable, so order by whichever number your parts list calls out.

In the ESNA 22 series the 22 prefix denotes cadmium plated carbon steel, A denotes a fiber locking insert and NA denotes a nylon locking insert. The trailing dash number is the thread code, where 62 is 6-32, 82 is 8-32, 02 is 10-32, 048 is 1/4-28, 054 is 5/16-24 and 064 is 3/8-24. A BC suffix indicates 100 degree countersunk rivet holes.

Fitment and Documentation

New surplus original hardware. Sold as-is with no FAA 8130-3 and no traceability. Airworthiness determination is the responsibility of an appropriately rated certificate holder. Confirm the part number against your illustrated parts catalog before installing. If you need help matching a nut plate to an application, an aircraft, or a legacy drawing callout, send us a quick quote request and we will work it with you.
