The "N" in 22NA7-68-02 denotes a nylon insert. ESNA added it to replace the earlier fiber-insert 22A7-68-02, which is prone to cracking with age. AirCorps recommends nylon insert fasteners wherever possible. The 22NA7-68-02 is a steel self-locking nut held in an aluminum right angle bracket. It mounts to a wall, flange, or cover at 90 degrees to the screw axis, where a flat plate nut has no room to fit.
