79HA38-02 locks by deformed thread rather than a fiber or nylon insert, so there is no insert to age or crack and the part is rated to 450 F instead of the 250 F limit that applies to insert types. The 79HA38-02 is the AN373 pattern two lug plate nut with a 100 degree countersunk nut body for flush screw installations.
